EXCELLENT :-), 16 Oct. 2014

The Fisher-Price Learn and Laugh Smart Phone arrived at the right time as I was looking after my friend's eldest daughter who is 2 years old. She couldn't wait to start playing with this new toy phone.

The On/Off switch is a little red button and is on the side of the phone, (it arrives with the batteries already installed).

First thing you notice when you switch it on is the buttons have lights surrounding them and this reacts to the intro music which is a quick and bright little tune.

The keys are all different colours, pictures on each and have numbers on ten out of the twelve keys.

Each key has two functions, (so you have to press each key twice), some will say the number first followed by music, (short little bursts otherwise I think it could get really annoying), or a saying, (which can sometimes be sung), and other keys work the opposite way round, (which I found keeps the child's attention more). On the bottom line there's a key with...

Quick Reviews!, 8 Nov. 2014
Over the last few years I have owned a few of these phone type toys, and this is amongst the best of the cheaper range. Some of the more expensive toys do a lot more than my own phone does, while some are cheaply built and uninspired. This one looks the part with brightly made buttons, and a decent range of songs and chatter. My youngest has enjoyed wondering around the house with this glued to her ear, telling us she's phoning Granny, or putting it in her doll's handbag and saying she's going to Tesco. The slider feature is nice and keeps it unique from some of our other toys - at less than a tenner you can't go far wrong.

Fisher Price Laugh & Learn Smart Phone, 7 Oct. 2014

My baby daughter loves this smart phone and as with everything in our house at the moment (I suspect mostly because it is her's) my son also loves it. My son (under 3) is just learning numbers and so has been pressing the buttons and trying to repeat the numbers as they are spoken and has been walking around pretending to talk on the phone too. My baby daughter is more interested in pressing the buttons and is just working out how to slide the slider and her face lights up when she stumbles upon a little tune or song rather than just the number's being repeated. So with both children within the target age range of the phone (6-36 months) I can confirm that it is a hit in our house. My one and only sort of niggle with the smart phone and thoughts on where Fisher Price could improve it in future would be if they could make it thinner so that it resembled a smart phone more than it currently does as at nearly 2.5cm (other measurements are 12.5cm by 7cm) thick it is a bit chunky to be...
