This little Lady really enjoys emptying out the purse and then refilling it. The purse features three levels of play, offers a whole plethora of songs, words and phrases to stimulate the little ones cognitive development and word association. The purse is good, as it has some weight to it and a sturdy bottom which is nice because it is able to sit by itself; this makes it easier for small children to put items in. The handle is nice and short so a child doesn't trip on it; this is especially nice for shorter children. This is a developmental toy where the little one will learn her shapes, colours, and numbers. This Fisher-Price Smart Stages Purse is suitable from 6m+ and, as with all the Smart Stages toys, changes to grow with your child. There are three levels: Level 1: Explore - 6m+, Level 2: Encourage - 12m+ and Level 3: Pretend - 18m +. Changing the level on the front of the bag causes different noises to be made when you press the buttons. For example, with Level 1 the buttons say the colour names and for Level 2 they will say the numbers. Press the musical note and the bag sings songs.
There are five items to put into (and take out!) of the bag: a pretend phone, a bracelet, little heart mirror, keys and a little credit card. The bag closes with velcro, although there is only a strip in the middle and so you might have to be careful things don't drop out if your little one takes it to the park or out and about.
