compactness and quality; fisher price through and through, 28 Mar. 2014

Ah yes, perfect: a baby gym that adds a little more noise to the already far from tranquil world of early parenthood. Compared to the twin arch type gym, more frequently seen, this is a slightly smaller design, and requires some slight dismantling to fold up, but this isn't to it's detriment, it means that is can be more easily stowed away, and actually seems slightly more rigid and solid than others. It takes a couple of minutes with a screwdriver to assemble, comes ready batteried, and is made of high quality materials with nice varied textures, and a fun (for a baby) collection of dangly items with assorted reflections, textures, rattles and twizzles to keep your child happy (i particularly like the transucent bit, it has lovely feel and eye appear, and certainly draws my baby's attention; the mirror is also a little larger than many, and very shiny, for a plastic reflector, which betters something other gyms tend to have)

Most cleverly, the keyboard rotates, so in...

The toys are at a great height, he just loves it, 5 July 2014
I got this when our soon was 8 weeks old. He just loves it. I can see a difference in how reacts to the toys from when he first got it. It is so lovely to actually see how much he has come on. He loves each of the toys and has gone from looking at them to holding them. The toys are at a great height, he just loves it. Keeps him entertained to no end. From a mummy point of view, the sounds are not annoying I thought they would be with 2 different settings and 4 different sounds to the piano, it doesn't grate on you. Well not me anyway. I'd recommend this as you really do see the child coming on the more he/she uses it.

Great play mat, 14 April 2014
I am really pleased with this play mat, it is good quality as I would expect from Fisher Price, it was easy to assemble and easy enough to take apart to store out of the way if necessary.I particularly like the fact that it is a bit smaller than the Rain Forest (also by Fisher Price) play mat, which we also have, as it takes up less floor space when the baby is on it. However being smaller there isn't really enough space for baby to roll over and she ends up rolling into the side. The rain forest mat is better for encouraging movement as there is room to roll and toys are hung far enough apart to make baby try to reach them.I can see this play mat getting more use overall as the piano at the end will still be fun as the child gets older. My baby is currently 3 months old and is really enjoying this mat at the moment, the hanging toys are great - a good variety of colours, shapes and textures.
