This is the new (safer) 2 battery version!, 17 Sept. 2015
Needing to replace my daughters 4 year old seahorse who had started to sound like it was drowning I find out about the fire hazard...researched and found the new version requiring 2 batteries was thought to be safe. But getting hold of one almost impossible! The write up for this 'newer version' still listed 3 battery requirement but decided to take the risk (planning cautious battery replacements). Delighted when this arrived in English box with the 2 battery requirement. My daughter loves her "glower" and it helps her go to/go back to sleep every night. She wasn't too fussed as a baby but when she was about 2/3yrs and got scared of the dark this became her night time comfort! And it arrived a day before expected! Very happy Mum and daughter!

This little seahorse is excellant. Bought for my friends new born son. Had previously bought the pink one for his sister who still uses hers and she's nearly 3I could certainly recommend this item
