Well made items, but not suitable for my purpose., 22 Dec. 2016

I bought these to put under the castors of my office chair. Used at home its castors are being pretty 'brutal' on my carpet. I expected them to spread the load over a larger area & hence cause less grief to the carpet (which they do) but I also expected them to slide on the carpet on the odd occasions I move the chair slightly.....but they dont. The sides are not deep enough and the castors just roll out. Unsuitable for chairs with castors that you want to move regularlyTo make matters worse I had to buy 2 packs of 4 because like most office chairs mine has 5 castors.BUT the seller was quite happy to offer a refund so worth trying if you think they'll work for you. I might try using some 'playdoh' to see if that will keep the castors in the cup.
