A great workhorse for the family cycling, 16 April 2015

I'm not one for posting reviews but figured this deserved one since it's turned out to be such a great investment for the family cycling over the last year. We purchased ours direct from the manufacturer but since I use Amazon for almost everything now Iigured this review might help someone elses decision process.

Prior to this I had tried a couple of different options for towing the kids firstly a wee-ride tagalong which was great except the kids could never be independent. We then tried a Trailgator which allows you to use hook them up to your bike and release them as appropriate, this didn’t go well for us, it may very well have been my installation that was at fault since this gets great reviews but for me this just didn't feel safe, not to mention taking the paintwork off my daughters new Isla bike, not impressed.

After a lot of research I came across the follow-me but was initially put off by the price, however after more research I couldn't really...

I have had this for a week and the small parts have broken and I am struggling with dragging on the frame, it took me a long time to figure out how to attach it and the small components are not very well made (they are attached to wire to keep them close to the frame for convenience but they pulled out and are now loose partsthat could be easily lost). I hope things improve but I have to admit I am disappointed with having to source replacement parts after only a couple of uses, for the whacking price tag I had expected better quality parts.

So great idea but awful manufacturing, 7 May 2015

This works really well BUT rust is a major problem. Mine is 18 months old has lots of rust on it, mainly on the chrome plated section. I use it for the kids school run and not on rainy days much. Kept in a dry garage and no rust on my bike. No response from manufacturer when I queried how long it was expected to last. So great idea but awful manufacturing.Also I have noted that have changed the clamping mechanism to the childs frame at least three times. No explanation as to why and no offer to upgrade existing customers to the latest design. This part is vital to the operation of the product and if it is defective then all existing customers should benefit from any improvements. After all you are putting a young child on this and if it fails at high speed it would be awful.
