A very good quality and accurate thermometer, 13 Jan. 2016

I received this well packaged and with batteries and instructions. I placed it on the side of my baby’s head then pressed the button down for head, moved it slowly to the other side whilst I heard the clicking and let go to hear a beep and a correct temperature. Ear measurement was different, take the cap off, place gently in the ear and press the button and release. Both temperatures were about 0.3c off but that is normal according to the instructions.

I tested it over the period of 2 hours and the temperatures seemed to be very consistent and acceptable. I would rate this item highly and it will now take pride of place in my family’s medicine cupboard. It is very solidly built, easy to handle and very straight forward to use. The instructions are clear and the seller emails you with tips over a period which were very helpful to me.

Great thermometer, very impressed and extremely pleased with it. You have the ability to take the temperature via the forehead or the ears. Very well made and you can see and feel that this is a quality thermometer. It can measure the temperature in both Celsius and Fahrenheit. Also has the ability to recall the last 20 temperature readings. Easy to read, large backlit display. It has auto turn off after 10 seconds, which saves the battery power. Batteries are included. You also get a nice pouch to put it in. It's quick and easy to take the temperature and the fact you can do so via the forehead or ears makes it both hygienic and a no fuss way of taking the temperature of children.
