I knew instantly that my sister would love to put her new born in this, 18 Aug. 2014
Not somebody that usually goes out to buy baby clothing, this garment appealed to my daft, sense of humor. I knew instantly that my sister would love to put her new born in this!As other people have said, this garment is quite large for the majority of newborn's, however they will grow and will outgrow the hat and 'cocoon', but it will suffice, especially at that price! It will certainly provide a few laughs especially when the baby photos are shared with friends and family when they hit adult-hood!The garment itself seems well made. The knitting/weave seems robust, the colour isn't washed out or showing signs of bleeding. I'm sure that someone who is a capable knitter would scoff at this item but for someone like me, the 'homemade' look has a certain 'I made this' about it, even though I don't' have a clue about knitting!Probably worth a wash before sticking the baby in it!Good, honest fun baby garment, would recommend!

Lovely item :) takes awhile to arrive as not from uk. A pot bigger than we thought, we were worrying our son would grow out of it before photos. But its fab.

a bit too much pink for a boy, photo ..., 9 Nov. 2014
a bit too much pink for a boy, photo looked cream, hat was a lot smaller than expected after reading other reviews about hats being too big ,feel they have amended sizing a bit too much, generally as expected though
