Although I don't have a baby which this baby monitor is specifically marketed for, I have many other uses for these monitors including monitoring intruders in the garden, visitors to the house and, most of all, I use it for veterinary purposes to monitor ill animals. At the moment, I am monitoring a sick rabbit whom I'm nursing so my video will demonstrate how the system works as a pet monitor. It could also be used to monitor a frail or disabled relative or patient with medical needs, a toddler playing as a safety device or even for keeping an eye on less-trustworthy tradespeople doing work in your home.
The camera is quite a compact unit and can be either hung on a wall or, if the hanging bracket is swivelled around, then it becomes an integral stand - a big pat on the back here for the designers and their ingenuity.

There are a whole slew of baby monitors around so it pays you to get ones that suits.
My advice is to get one which is easy to operate, provides a good video picture, has night vision and is battery powered.
This device ticks all the boxes.

What I like is that it is really simple to use.
If it had all the bells and whistles that some have it would be simply too complicated to use.
The beauty of this device is that it is simple to use and effective.
It's well made and robust.
True it's not designed for throwing about but should take a little bit of hammer.
The fact that it is battery powered means it's a lot easier to locate in the room and no trailing wires etc as a danger hazard. A bonus is that it can be used outdoors should the situation be needed.
