We have a few Galt products in our home (

& Galt Activity Pony to name a couple) which our son and now our daughter absolutely love. As with our other Galt products this is the usual Galt style of very bright and colourful and has the same farm animals as featured on the playnest. The playmat itself actually measures just shy of 99cm so is not the advertised 100cm. The playmat is more cushioned than some mats I have seen although not as cushioned as others and so when using on our wood floor we put some foam number tiles underneath to give a bit of extra support to our daughter and I would not use it on the floor without these. The mat features the following interactive parts for your little one:-

Chicken's wing is crinkly

Pony has a felt and tassel tail

Cow has a fur patch on his...

These type of mats always come in handy so my 8 month old doesn't totally trash all the rugs/carpets in the house with food stains. Plus I use it in the garden or if we go for picnics. It's a good size, brightly coloured with things to feel/pull and squeak. I've only had it a few weeks and had a wash it few times already (it washes well). Good value buy.

The play mat is nice and colourful which helps to keep the baby interested. However my criticism is that the mat is very poorly padded and I had to put extra blankets under it. I don't think I would buy this again.
