Product is described as for very fair skin so why is the colour dark orange. I think it's too dark even for medium skin tones. So it's marketed for very fair skins yet it's not only too dark for fair skin it's also orange!I can't actually tell you how well it works as I couldn't wait to get it off my skin, as for going outside, well perhaps I'll save it for Halloween.Honestly Garnier what on earth were you thinking.Edit - as people have been finding the review helpful I've added some pics, 3 above. Hope it helps people decide whether it's right for them. To give you an idea I'm a NC/NW 15 occasionally 20 on the Mac scale, so I'm nowhere near the palest person out there.

Made me orange!, 30 Jun. 2013

Well, this certainly didn't blend naturally with my skin tone! I bought ambre solaire as I love their other products, but this is unusable. It made my face bright orange no matter how much I blended and I bought the one for very fair skin. I don't see how this could blend with anyone's skin if they are fair. It is in the bin.

A balanced view of a controversial product, 18 July 2015

After reading such mixed reviews - well, not mixed, but polarised - I wasn't sure about buying this product, but I decided to live dangerously. Now I would like to bring some balance to what I feel is unjustified criticism. I am an older woman with white hair and very fair skin. I've had skin cancer so I need some powerful protection and was tired of having white stuff all over my face. So this seemed to be what I was looking for - moisturiser, foundation and sun protection all in one. It IS an alarming colour coming out of the tube and I made the same mistake that others seem to have made - i.e. I put too much on and looked, indeed, like someone who'd had a close encounter with a pumpkin.

I tried less, much less, and it made all the difference. It blended into my skin and stayed there through a long and very active day. I cannot understand how experiences could be so different unless some of the reviews are intentionally less than honest...but we're all different...
