Really great wipes, 7 Aug. 2015

I have been using these for a few months now as part of my daily routine so i was really happy to get a free pack to review.I have Rosacea and they have been the only product of this type i have found that has not irritated my skin. I use one of these wipes everyday, then facial toner, vitamin c serum and then moisteruriser.They have no strong smell, my skin feels nice and clean, and i feel more confident as it helps cleanse my rosacea.I dropped a star as i dont like the cost, i think they could come down by half, also id like to see bigger packs. I mean why 25 wipes? Why not 28 or 30 so they last a full month.Apart from that minor niggle i will continue to buy them

Garnier Skin Naturals Cleansing Wipes – Simply Essentials

There is a huge variety of cleansing wipes to choose from out there in the market place, from very cheap supermarket own brands to branded ones at a higher price

Having now tried these Garnier "Simply Essentials", made especially for sensitive skin from the Skin Naturals range, they are certainly a much better quality for the money.

I have normal skin with a very slight sensitivity and am in my late 60s.

• These Facial Wipes are slightly quilted and have absolutely no fragrance whatsoever.

• They are strong and are of a very good size, measuring 6 inches x 7½ inches.

• I don’t wear much make-up, just a very light tinted moisturiser, lipstick and waterproof mascara. These facial wipes successfully removed all of it. My skin felt very clean, refreshed and soft afterwards and with no greasy residue.

These wipes are great. Not too rough or dry, and so gentle that the usual stinging I get from brands like "Simple" isn't an issue. The wipes are a bit on the small side but they do get the job done (unless my make up is drastic, then it takes two to get it off).

Really does get nearly every trace of make up off, even my waterproof mascara which instead of washing off just tends to move from lashes to cheeks. My face also felt very moisturised unlike when I use the Simply brands and it dries my nose and cheeks out a bit.

Claims to be unpefumed but definitely has a scent (not altogether unpleasant but it might put some off). The value is a bit under the asking price at £2.99 for 25 wipes, working out at a grand total of about 11p a wipe. I don't understand the number 25. Surely 30 would be a more realistic number for a month supply. even 5 more wipes would make a difference to the value.
