Gelex Moisturizing Gel Elbow Sleeve is made with stretchable cotton/nylon fabric and a Gelex proprietary gel cushion that contours around the elbow to protect it from pressure, friction, and shear forces. The Gelex gel is also unique for containing a medical grade mineral oil which gradually releases from the gel onto the skin to moisturize the skin while protecting it. This slip on elbow sleeve is also designed for olecranon bursa protection, lightweight elbow protection, or ulnar nerve protection. The elbow pad provides cushioning to help decrease arthritis elbow pain.

I bought this as I have olecranon bursitis (Student's Elbow) and the write up said it was suitable for this. It is more expensive than other similar products but I wanted a quality item that would last.I confess to being somewhat disappointed when I first saw it thinking the pad at 5 mm too thin but now that I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks it has been an absolute godsend and has enabled me to rest my elbow without any discomfort. I have the large size and it fits my arm which is approx 31 cm circumference (arm straight) and doesn’t slip down or ride up. It can be worn under a shirt and no one will know you have it on and I only take it off to wash it.I would recommend this product to anyone who has the same complaint as me or just wants to protect their elbows from getting it.

FAR TOO SMALL, 8 Dec. 2015
The reason for the 3 stars is because of the size. After reading some customer comments I bought large (even though I have slim arms) but after wearing them for an hour I had to take off as they were too tight and very uncomfortable. I do love them though as they really protect the elbow so I am going to have to order 2 in extra large. They are not cheap either and don't come in pairs so it has ended up as very expensive gel pads.What on earth do people with big arms do?

Gel pads are good but too small for a mans elbow, 27 April 2015
Order two which were different sizes. Gel pads are good but too small for a mans elbow. Sleeves too short for a normal arm, with the movement they roll down in to the bend of the arm and unbearable to ware after a while.
