The playpen itself is sturdy and well designed. The base would probably be better if it were made of some lighter material as the MDF is heavy - it needs to be strong, of course. As it is it is too heavy to be easily assembled/disassembled or moved.The first one we were sent had obvious damage to the packaging and the playpen itself, and had clearly been opened before. Based on this experience we'd be reluctant to buy similar items from Amazon in future.

Purchased for our grand-daughter, the playpen is easy to assemble and fold away after use, so that the main rooms are left more free from clutter, at the end of the day.Very good.
