What is the Kid Tracker ?

The Kid Tracker is an easy to use device designed to give worried parents a quick way to locate their children when they wander away unexpectedly. If a child should move more than the set alarm distance away from the parent, a 95 dB beep alarm is triggered both on the Master (the parent's unit) and the Slave unit (which is worn by the child). The Master unit also plays a melody and vibrates when the alarm is triggered. A row of LEDs light sequentially to indicate in which direction the child has strayed.

We bought this Guardian Angel for our camping holiday last year and I'm still using it almost every day. It is a big relief to know that if the Guardian Angel didn't alarm my kids are still in the area I let them to play. The Guardian Angel comes with a Hand held device called Master and two tags. According to the user manual the Master can track up to 4 Tags. For me was very useful that it is possible to set different ranges inside where my kids could move without triggering the alarm. So if I'm in a park I can set the "Far" range and if they are playing somewhere more dangerous than I set the "Near" range. The search function is very useful, we needed only once when our daughter was hiding behind a bush and played without answering to our calls.As a conclusion I recommend the Guardian Angel to all parents who like to give their kids the freedom of playing outside, without abdicating from their safety.

Too easy for child to turn off and gives false signals!, 7 Sept. 2014
This seemed like a fantastic product, so we bought it for our three young children.Two issues, firstly when we gave it to our 3 year old boy, he started pressing all the buttons and kept turning it off!Secondly, when we tested it on a camping site, (using an adult!) it gave false green signals in many different directions, so you couldn't tell which way to go. Also it didn't always give a green signal when it WAS pointing in the correct direction!If you lost your child and were stressed, this would not work at all, in fact it would make the situation considerably worse!I very much regret buying this, not recommended at all! :(

Great product for keeping track of a child, animal etc. Very light and easy to carry for both parties. For a child the small alarm can clip onto a bag, belt hook etc. Very easy to teach a child how to use it too.Great product!
