My daughter is 18 months old and is a nightmare with hats; refuses to keep them on and without a strap they come off in the breeze. Thinking ahead to our summer hols this year, we wanted a hat that could also be worn in water and offered sun protection. The price of this hat is very reasonable for the excellent quality. The hat is comepletely soft with a only slightly more rigid peak, meaning its comfy, easy to pack in the bag and can be washed. The strap is great, not too tight to annoy but secure enough to stop it flying off in even strong breezes. My daughter is more than happy wearing it and has yet to pull it off. Finally, our daughter is small for her age and finding things that fit but allow for growing is hard; this is perfect. Highly recommend this hat.

Great hat for summer holiday. My 16 month old loved the hat and kept it on. Provided good sun protection and could be rinsed through after a day at the beach.
