Our toddler loves this as a toy, but as a parent I am a little diappointed. While it restrains our daughter from running away, it is useless in preventing her from falling. The problem is that the "leash" is attached in such away that the contact point is at the centre of the childs back but needs to be higher up. If your child falls unless you have your hand directly above them, they will fall forward with nothing to stop them. I keep this one in the car as a spare but have invested in a "little life" ladybird backpack, which adresses this problem by good design.

Great value for money lovely quality stops you breaking your back when little ones just want to walk. Will be purchasing another one for my other daughter when she walks
