My daughter loves her Mr Tumble toy - he speaks and his nose lights up - soft, cuddly and colourful. Looks like he is going to be a popular toy for christmas

I bought this for Mr Tumble obsessed grandson (nearly 3 years old) thinking he would love it but he seems less than impressed. He liked pressing the hand to get the short recordings of Mr Tumble's (about half a dozen) but soon tired of it partly, I think, because to him it doesn't look hugely like Mr Tumble. He first saw it when I forget to hide it properly before giving it to him as a present and so I think he believes it is actually mine as he keeps giving it back to me to keep.Update, 3 months on! Having realised it is his, grandson now loves this Mr Tumble toy and sleeps with it all night. The new downside is his habit of pressing the hand to activate the short recordings as a comfort thing when he wakes in the middle of the night. As he still has a baby monitor it means that his parents get startled awake by a voice next to their bed asking "Do you like my bow tie?"
