Sends our baby to sleep, 15 Feb. 2015

Firstly, this is extremely good value. Yes, it may not have the bells and whistles of other models - for example, it doesn't play music and there's only 2 speed settings. But you don't need that. You need something that will send your little one to sleep. And this works.Every baby is different, of course. However, we have tried many swings and bouncers (including the expensive and lovely Numa Leaf), but this is the only one that puts our 3 month old baby to sleep.Good points:It works for us where other products didn't. Hallelujah, a sleeping baby.Easy to assemble (ok, so it takes about 10 minutes, but no screws are required and the instructions are clear).StableEasy to adjust the straps.Did I mention that it puts our baby to sleep?Bad points:Takes type C batteries rather than the more common AA.

Good back support, Reasonable Price, Bit noisy, 30 Nov. 2010

We have 2 of these, so hopefully my review adds some value for other parents :-)

The good:

This model has back support where others don't. Not sure if posture matters at this age, but I was surprised at how many other products are just a bit of material and your baby slumps.

The swinging motion is excellent, with or without batteries.

The swinging motion calms my baby :-)

The bad:

The battery contacts aren't great. I had to bend the wires to make contact and keep it working.

It makes a weird noise: Whirrr, click, Whirrr, click, Whirr...etc... This noise is loud on batteries and there is a quiet clicking on manual.

Beware the Grey model: We picked up a second one that is Grey and not hedgerow. It was from a big chain toy shop. It had a loud clicking even when you push it manually. We're considering returning it...

Regardless, on batteries it is NOT the dreamy swingy sound you...

brilliant buy, 18 April 2011

I brought this as my daughter loves the swinging motion. She loves it. It is easy to put together on your own, however the battery compartment is hard to get into. When it is in use it makes a clicking noise which can be quite loud. The seat cover is easily removed and is machine washable (luckily) and dries really quickly. It is a brilliant price and excellent delivery speed.
