Has one major drawback, 1 July 2012

When this product goes below a certain temperature (as it will in transit if you have it delivered during the winter) the beeswax in it solidifies to give the cream a rough, grainy texture which is next to impossible to correct no matter how much you warm it on the radiator (as recommended by the very helpful customer service person). The grains never completely dissolve back in. So although it can be used as prevention against sore bottoms, it's no good once the bottom is already sore as my little man screams when it is applied. And so I recommend the baby salve instead which he seems to find soothing.

Nappy rash gone within 24 hours!, 14 April 2013

Incredible! I can't believe how quickly this worked on my newborn's skin. We literally applied a small amount over the course of a day's nappy changes and the horrible redness nearly all but disappeared within 24 hours. This has worked for two bouts of nappy rashes so far. Totally recommended 200%!

Great barrier cream, all natural and kind, 23 Dec. 2010

Our little'un is going through reusable nappies at a trot, and in some instances we've found that she has REALLY wet the nappy when we change her. At the first sign of redness we went on a hunt for some nappy cream for her soft bottom. We are still cotton wool/water cleaning, and with cotton nappies we wanted something as natural/kind as possible. Waitrose has quite a few options and it was a close call between this and Weleda - which incidentally is an absolute top seller in Germany and a fraction of the price of this cream!

We went for this and are very pleased. Its very expensive, in fact the most expensive we found, but its all natural and the barrier it forms seems to be working. The addition of healing ingredients help it work to reduce redness - though I doubt it can match the powers of sudocreme tbh. However, it works for our littleun and we are happy with the choice.

The price on amazon is comparable to both waitrose and the greenpeople website. We'll be...
