Having now used a few different brands of baby sleeping bags I am a firm Grobag fan: in my opinion they are worth the extra they cost over cheaper brands. Initially I was worried about the minimum weight guidance for safety reasons, so bought a specific newborn size (of a different brand) however, aside from the fact he outgrew it within a month, I felt more confident in the design of the Grobags for preventing my baby from slipping down within the bag: the round neck shape and size and the under-arm poppers mean the bag keeps the baby where he should be. At birth he weighed 3.4kg (7lbs 8). He's now 3 months, measuring 61cm, and there is still lots of room for him to grow.
This design is lovely: the material is a light cotton - the blue looks like a pale denim - which washes well (and it gets a lot of washing with our baby!)
