The 1 tog version is perfect for our little one, we started using a sleeping bag after about eight weeks (loosely swaddled before this). The top fastening Dreampod seemed to gather round the neck. This is a much better design, we haven't used it in the car but it's nice it have the option. It's a bit fiddly to put on while sleeping compared to a top fastening one but that's the only complaint. Night changes involve a lot of material swept to one side but are relatively easy. Washes and tumble dries really well - we'll be buying the next size up!

Great solution for unusual problem, 10 Aug. 2014

A relative has a baby who is on a feeding tube at night. I ordered these travel bags as a way to keep the tube in place at night whilst allowing the baby to keep warm...worked fabulously and all sleep better at night now!
