Himalayan Pink salt contains an almost identical set of elements as those in our body in the same proportions as occur in our blood. The distinctive rose pink colour is a of the high mineral content in the salt (iron, potassium and magnesium) all vital to good health. INGREDIENTS: Pure Himalayan Crystal Salt containing 84 natural minerals and elements. DIRECTIONS OF USE: For a foot soak, dissolve one cup in a foot bath and soak for 30 minutes or more. For a bath soak, dissolve 2-3 cups in a full bath tub and soak for 30 minutes or more. Temperature of the water should be approximately 39 degrees centigrade. Once finished, rinse with warm water and dry. For external use only.

These are rather nice. My wife is fond of the odd bath, and in particular foot spas, so I bought these for her. Being a curious person and having spent a lot of time on my feet recently, I decided to give them a go for myself as well.

My wife and I both had pretty much the same experience with them. They give quite a pleasant soak, and skin feels refreshed and looks better afterwards (more than we have found when using other bath products). We were also both pretty sure that this product helped to reduce the "pruning" effect that usually results from a prolonged soak. I'm not sure if there are any long-term benefits to this fact, but it was still a nice touch.

One disadvantage they have over other types of bath salt and similar products is that they don't seem to have any sort of noticeable fragrance once in the water. It's nice to have a pleasant scent while you soak, and so it seemed a shame that this was something these salts lack. You also have to use...

Bought this as a present for a friend, it arrived early with lovely gift wrap. I could not help myself as I still had time to order another one, so tried it out myself after a long walk with the dogs in the Wiltshire countryside. As a warming refreshing foot bath VIE Himalayan salts are extremely satisfying, my feet and ankles felt like new afterwards. I've since tried them for a long soak in the bath, so relaxing, relieving all of my tense muscular discomfort and making my skin so soft, shiny and new. Very happy with VIE and highly recommended. I'd heard about Himalayan pink salt from a friend who regularly uses it in the bath to heal any cuts and help her muscles feel more relaxed. She claimed the minerals had great health benefits. I admit I was a little sceptical at first but I liked the idea that something so natural (and easy to use) could have such a profound effect. When I tried it I was very impressed. My skin felt softer, I slept better and I would certainly recommend it.
