I was not at all impressed when I opened the box because the individual parts looked a bit tatty but once assembled it looks great. The marble base makes it very sturdy. The only fault I found was one of the balls on the end of the hooks was badly drilled and split slightly when pushed into position. I have looked at other coat stands since purchasing this one and even ones double the price were rubbish in comparison.I am extremely happy with my purchase, it looks good and is very sturdy.

But it is easy to build intuitively, 10 Dec. 2014
It is true that comprehensive instructions for assembly are missing. But it is easy to build intuitively. I am a female and not a DIY master but I managed it myself in about 20mins. Once assembled, it looks the works. It is stylish and does the job much better than some other overpriced 'modern' products we have bought in the past. I would definitely recommend this product.

As others mention it looks very cheap and poorly made when in component parts, but once built looks well enough and is very practical.Easy to build and sturdier than I thought it would be I think it is good for the price. It may not be the best quality nor the most beautiful piece of furniture, but it does the job it was designed for very well.I should also mention that the first one that arrived had a shattered base, most likely caused by rough courier handling, but they sent out a replacement promptly without any fuss. I would happily recommend this company based on my experience with them for this purchase.
