Excellent Safety Gate, 29 April 2013

We already had a safety gate in our living room but it was horrible so wanted to avoid getting the same one. Spent ages looking online at the different ones and then came across this one. We didn't want to have to screw wall cups onto the wall so this seemed perfect and we haven't been disappointed.It's easy to open one handed even when carrying my toddler. IT swings shut so you don't even have to stand by and close it. Fitted on to the wall fine without the use of the safety cups and stays in place even with my toddler pulling and swinging on it.Would highly recommend this gate to anyone.

Perfect one hand operated gate - even better with Vaseline!, 3 Sept. 2014

Perfect safety gate to contain your children/pets. Easy to use as can be opened with one hand and just slammed shut, which was the main reason for buying. Here's a tip from the top.. if your gate seems to be getting harder to slam shut just put a little bit of Vaseline on the ramp where the latch engages and you'll find even your baby can close it, as he has done several times now much to his frustration. I have found the rubber clamps can move over time on the wall, but not enough to concern me and using the Vaseline trick also helps reduce the force applied when the gate is shut.

We have two lively terrier puppies and these gates have proved invaluable. We would thoroughly recommended it as it is also extremely easy to fit.
