Not enough bang for your buck., 14 Sept. 2014
On the plus side, this is a very well-madesoft toy, attractive in a sort of retro, Enid Blyton way, and it got a big grin from my one-year old when it was presented to him, though he's not familiar with the TV show. It would make an impressive birthday or Christmas gift. The minus points are really all to do with the electronic interactivity. If one presses the titular head, shoulders knees and toes in sequence, one is rewarded with a (slightly dalek-y) rendition of the song and Mr. Tumbles bow tie lighting up. However, the sequence is recorded by buttons under the plush, rather than by just touching the area, and they actually need quite a firm press, Certainly, this is a motor and skill beyond the average toddler, and I can't really see this toy being engaging for the amount of time such a task would take to learn. Which brings up the other issue, the price. You could buy quite a lot more play value for 30 quid than this toy offers.

I'm disappointed, hugely, 6 Nov. 2014
I'm disappointed, hugely. Not even the price drop can convince me.The main point in Mr Tumble and the Something Special series is to be inclusive of children with special needs. For a start, many children who love Mr Tumble can lack the motor skills required to activate this product. Heck, i barely could. Its really quiet. It had so much potential but fails in every way

If you LIKE heads, shoulder, knees and toes this is a winner, 31 Dec. 2014
If you like 'heads, shoulders, knees and toes' this is a winner. Otherwise, it's a bit of a one-trick pony. This Mr Tumble is a bigish, bright, well-made though somewhat overpriced soft-bodied toy that performs Heads Shoulders Knees and Toes. It's quite nice that this performs with a UK accent - in line with 'Something Special' - but for the RRP this is a rather limited toy.Mr Tumble does come with batteries preinstalled, so he does work from the word 'go'.
