I’m a fan of the Emjoi Micro Pedi systems and have tried several other models from the range as well as a pedicure device by Scholl. What I really like about this one is the size and shape of it: it's actually more comfortable and more compact than all the other devices I’ve tried and it's a lot quieter than the Scholl and the Emjoi standard model. It fits perfectly into your hand so it's much easier to hold and to manoeuvre around. If you’ve never owned a device like this, it’s sort of like sandpaper and an electric razor rolled into one. It removes all the dry and hard skin from the soles of your feet and it is an effortless process.
Mine is a bright pink colour but there are a few other bright colours also available. There are a range of rollers available for use with the device so if you have very hard and dry skin, choose a coarser roller attachment. I was surprised to find that the Micro Pedi Nano does not come with any batteries although it does need two AA batteries to work. So be sure to have some AA batteries in the house if buying this. Micro Nano Pedi is a very simple concept, it is a piece of pink abrasive paper on a roller which is driven by a battery motor. It's easy to use. It does the job. It works.
The power button slides with no problems but there is a safety button on the slider that needs to be pressed to be able to slide the power button into the On position.
The abrasive roller clicks in and out. There are replacement rollers available when the abrasive wears out.
It is recommended that you wash your feet and dry them before applying the Micro Pedi to the areas of hard skin on your feet. I found that I needed to use minimal pressure with the roller. By the nature of the design, sight of where the roller is in contact with the foot is hidden by the device when in use. I couldn't...
