Excellent product, exceptional value, 16 Feb. 2010

I have been having my nails professionally manicured, strengthened, and extended using gel for several months - unfortunately even with the best care damage does happen. However, with this kit I have been able to fix problems and replace gel nails myself.The lamp is not particularly powerful,so it takes some time, but then you would not expect it from a low cost UV lamp. You would be hard pressed to find the individual items for such a good price!I did not even need to watch the DVD, the sheet of instructions was enough, given that I have seen it done half a dozen times.I have seen reviews saying the nail tips and glue are not strong. Fortunately, they are the most easily replaced items.I can definitely see a time when I will not be visiting my nail technician!

Great when you know what your doing., 10 Dec. 2010

I got this as i was fed up of paying for it doing when i knew i could do it in the comfort of my own home, in my own time. The first two or three times they did not last much over a week and did look artificial, however with practice they have no lines in them, are smooth, natural looking and so strong they are lasting so that rather than replacing I am having to do infills every 2 - 3 weeks, and I am a very busy working mum and have always got my hands in water so they do get pushed to the limits most days. Great item, well worth the money (I got this when on offer). Except now people know I can do them christmas is turning to a very busy time doing friends and family.

I was not happy with this System, 29 Jan. 2014

For me the nails really didn't stay very long. Also I have the suspicion that it destroyed my nails. They became very thin and soft and broke non-stop even when I had the gel applied. I would never buy this product again. I later on bought another product/system which was slightly more expensive, but which is absolutely great. This other product (Gellure) is worth the money.
