A high quality product worth investing in, 15 July 2013

As adults, a few years ago we finally decided to invest in a high-quality mattress instead of a budget one, and it's been a worthwhile investment ever since- comfier, more durable, and simply a nicer lying-down experience! This mattress is the toddler equivalent of doing the same thing. Yes there are cheaper mattresses, but this one has clearly been built to a very high standard. Our daughter clearly noticed a difference between this and her old mattress, even though we didn't expect her to, so we were very pleased about that. We tested it a little ourselves and it seemed both supportive and comfortable at pretty much angle, whether you were sleeping in the middle or right in any of the corners- our daughter always ends up sleeping in the corners, pretty much at random, so that was good. I believe that it is of a good build quality so that it will last until our daughter has outgrown it, for sure. Obviously it's a bit difficult to review the anti-dust mite claims that the mattress...

'Denting' after only 2 months use, 20 Jan. 2014

My son seems to sleep well on this mattress which is obviously important. However my 3 month old son leaves an impression on it that does not resolve throughout the day. Ihave rotated it round but after only 2 months of use there are 'dents' where he has been lying. He is 11lb5oz so not heavy. He has reflux so is sick most nights i am therefore using a waterproof cover as the removable cover is impractical for that frequent washing and changing. I have a 3 yr old daughter for whom we have and are still using another pocket sprung mattress there has been no problems or denting in 3 years with that one so considering changing to that make as wonder how long this one will last.

Comfortable and well constructed, 15 Aug. 2013

It's not easy to review a mattress that you can't easily sleep on to give a subjective opinion! However, to get around this problem we've been using this instead of a solid foam mattress in our toddler's cot bed for the last month and seeing as he still wakes several times a night it's had a fair amount of assessment. Ok it's only 140cm x 70cm but it easily and comfortably supports my 14stone weight when I lie on it, even though my lower legs are resting on the toy-box at the foot of the bed. There's also less roll together compared to the old foam mattress which makes it much easier to vacate when the little un has finally fallen asleep, this is no doubt due to the pocket sprung construction that is found in a decent adult mattress. Luckily the quilted cover is removable and washable and has already been tested by a nasty bout of 24hr sickness. Thankfully it washes well and retains its shape without shrinkage.

I'm a little sceptical regarding its claims of reducing...
