I don't really know what I expected for the price. My husband opened the box to find that the quality was not what we had expected. The dowling was smaller than we thought, the holes through the middle of this are not centered. Very cheap looking. The material for the slings is like that you make cheap tents from, very thin and shiny polyester type material. I expect that it may tear at some point and not last very long. Very cheap materials.I am a bit disappointed, but like I said - I don't know what I expected for the price. I guess it will serve its purpose for now and we will look at buying a more solid bookcase in the future.Word of warning: I would only put paperbacks into this. Anything heavier may split the material or tip the case over.

Lovely little Bookshelf, 20 Dec. 2010

This is a lovely little book shelf and very easy to put together. Despite the size you can fit a fair amount of books on it and it looks lovely in my daughter's new room. Very speedy delivery!!!

Does not work, 3 Feb. 2011

The material used to store the books does not work.If books are placed in the bottom pocket the top books tip.The material pockets need re- designing.
