We purchased this after returning the V2 Battle Bridge in which the bugs (with fresh batteries) kept getting stuck in the tubes.Really pleased with this decision as my son (4) loves this much more since it folds up and he can take it with him, up to his room, on holiday (but not on a plane!), or to grandparents etc.We've had no problems with the bugs getting stuck when climbing unless he tries to force too many in at once or when the batteries aren't as fresh as they need to be, although these do last quite a long time and you can pick them up in bulk cheaply anyway.We since bought 2 more of these as presents for similar age children and they've proved just as popular.The novelty hasn't worn off and the hive or just the bugs are still played with on a regular basis.It only comes with one bug though so I'd recommend getting a couple more.

Shame batteries don't last long and my boys weren't impressed by the pink hex bugs but all in all a great Christmas present which has remained a favorite a month later.
