Sensitive, Caring Shampoo Without the Bad Stuff, 5 May 2017
HiPP products produce a whole range of consumer friendly products and this shampoo which is suitablefor baby use, I have tested over a one week period. It was used daily and it performed very well. The shampoo itself is of a slightly thick consistency, did not havea particular scent on application, but after used , the hair smelt fresh and clean. Incidentally, a little seems to goa long way.A significant feature is that it does not contain any nasties and the manufacturer has included a long list ofadditives, which it does not include but appears in other products. For example parabens, allergy inducingsubstances and micro plastic particles are specifically excluded. It is tremendously reassuring that you can use the product knowing that the shampoo contains natural elements. So, a sensitive, caring shampoo which after using I can recommend.

SMELL=====I've had this range before and could smell it before opening. It's especially beautiful smelling. But not over strong.HANDY===========Although the bottle is pretty and well made, it's not super sleek and chic. It looks quite ordinary.MAGIC======However, I don't have particularly fussy hair, and the baby doesn't either. it is an effective and gentle shapmpoo which can be used by all the family.HAIR TYPE=======This is for all hair types. I've tried it on all types. (we're a family of all types) It good on all hair types. If pushed I say better with normal and dry.OVERALL========I like it, and one to put on your shortlist if you're after a nice shampoo.

Tears free, environmentally friendly: free from micro-plastic particles, 5 May 2017

Designed to be 'tears free' and 'ultra sensitive', to guard against potential allergic reaction, this particular item comes as a pack of six 200ml bottles. This is quite small compared to a standard-sized shampoo. However, the 'baby size' is justified, as the content is quite concentrated, thick and creamy, thus, you will only need a small globule in the palm of your hand when applying to baby's head.

It is free from:

PEG

Parabens

Paraffins

Allergy-causing fragrances (as per cosmetics regulations)

Free from micro-plastic particles

The latter, in particular, is a big plus for me. However, it is not 'organic' or natural' and contains variations of lauryl. For those who like to avoid even this, Jason used to (or maybe even still does) make shampoos in this realm.

The texture of the shampoo feels oleaginous, despite not containing paraffin products (popular in anti-eczema lotions). Possibly this...
