Good idea. Am mainly using it to help lug my hefty 4month old around the house. It is certainly saving my back. HOWEVER, there are a couple of fundamental design flaws that need to be pointed out:
1) fastenings seem designed so product is worn over right hip. Fine if left handed but I am sure most people prefer to wear over left hip so right hand is free for tasks. It can be twisted round and worn on left but it is annoying when getting on and off.
2) the sticky part of the velcro faces in towards the body so unless you are very careful it sticks to and snags clothes.
3) there isn't quite enough padding around the seat itself which is made from hard injection mould foam. I've put some toy stuffing in which seems to be helping but until then it wss bruising my hip something chronic!
I'm still using the product and since there isn't really anything else like it on the market I would recommend to anyone suffering from back pain as a result of carrying a heavy...

I ordered this for my 3 year old as any time we are out he wants to be up quite alot if we don't have the pushchair. My arms and left hip (I can only carry him on my right hip or he keeps dropping down so all the weight goes on the left hip) ache. I thought this would solve the dropping down problem and take the weight of my arms. Having tried it on and tested it around the house this morning I can say it's a great product. He doesn't feel as heavy as when I just carry him and he said it was very comfortable. It means he's higher than he would normally be when carried so I was getting loads of kisses which is a nice perk :-) As your arm is more of a support as opposed to something holding the weight of the child no more arm ache. Great product for anyone who doesn't always want to have a pushchair with them but who still needs to rest their legs sometimes. I don't drive and am on my own so when we go out I can't share the carrying. I wish I'd got one years ago. Delivery was amazing...

Everyone knows that companies are lined up to take money off naive parents, keen to do their best for their precious offspring. I don't know any parent who has not bought a baby gadget, used it once and then left it gathering dust!
