Completely waterproof, 3 April 2011

We originally bought the cot size versions of the hippy chick covers. They were, quite simply, brilliant. There is no leakage whatsoever through these covers, yet they don't make you feel hot & sweaty & they don't crinkle like other waterproof covers. We used to put these under the top of our sheets when our little one was breast feeding in bed with us. They are so comfortable you don't notice they are there. Now our not so little ones are in proper size beds we have bought them these larger sheets. We opted for the flat sheets as the reviews on the fitted sheets suggested that they tend to shrink too much making them extremely tight to fit. They seem to stay in place under a normal fitted sheet which is washed frequently. The hippy chick sheets therefore don't need to be washed every time their beds are changed. Best Mattress Protector, 28 Sept. 2011

I have been using the flat sheet hippychick mattress protectors for 8 years now and they are fantastic. They were great on the babies' cots - and latterly excellent for nightime training. The flat sheets work well because you can use them under or over the sheet. If you are training a little one to go through the night without nappies I recommend using them on top of the sheet - they wash well and tumble dry so you can turn them round pretty quickly.They don't make you sweat and have a flanellete finish which is comfortable - easy to take on holiday too! I have used the fitted ones, which are the best fitted protectors I have found but I rate the flat ones more highly.

Great product. Not plasticy at all, which is what I hate about most waterproof sheets, but still 100% effective. I would definitely recommend this product.
