Huggies Great Quality As Usual, 17 Sept. 2016

I have been buying Huggies wipes for quite a few years now with my two little ones and I used to use both Huggies wipes and nappies in our household until they withdrew the sale of nappies in the UK a couple of years ago. Despite now using Pampers nappies, we still buy and use (a lot) of their Huggies wipes and I actually purchase two boxes a month of either these Soft Skin Wipes, the

To be honest these are not used for baby purposes but as wet-wipes. I have very sensitive skin and these hypoallergenic wipes are ideal for hands and even face when needed; and I love the fact that they are fragrance free and are so soft on the skin.

I keep a pack in my desk drawer, and also one each in coffee table and kitchen drawers for convenience as one never knows when they'll be needed.

One bit of advice I received years ago - via my sister - from an experienced furniture salesman that has stood me in good stead, is that a good-quality baby wipe is ideal for keeping leather furniture clean and in good condition. I have quite a few leather sofas and chairs which I've had for quite a few years and all of which are in good condition with the leather remaining supple - all thanks to baby wipes.

The downside of these Huggies Soft Skin Baby wipes is (like other brands) that the seal doesn't last until one has finished the pack and as other reviewers...

These wipes have a very mild but pleasant scent and are soft on the skin and if you rub enough with them they will start to lather slightly, the feeling from which is like a thin lotion which, when it dries feels like it’s been talcum powdered.

I haven’t experienced the same problem that some reviewers have commented on in that multiple wipes come out in one go; when I pull each wipe from the packet I keep one hand on the top of the pack and they come out individually, however, the wipe immediately underneath gets pulled up in readiness, like with a box of tissues – which doesn’t make the same sense here as, if it’s left protruding, it will dry out! So I poke the corner back down so I can replace the plastic seal over the top opening again – job done.

The fibres in wipes have different strengths (I guess a bit like the grain in wood); pulling the wipe on its longer side will tear more easily then pulling on the short side but...
