Expensive but one of the best on the market for this kind of stair gate

Perfect baby/dog gate but needs to be drilled to the wall...., 14 Jan. 2015

We bought this baby gate to stop our 8 month old Beagle from running upstairs at any opportunity she could mange. We needed an extra wide one due to the size of the opening at the bottom of our staircase so we purchased the option to extend to 143 cm which was the perfect size. We chose this product as it was advertised as no drilling involved. Well, this is not the case. We needed to drill holes in the wall to fit this baby gate. There is no way the gate would stay in place without drilling. Would have given this item 5 stars if the listing was correct.

Rubbish as too wobbly, 11 Jan. 2017

Very poor as it flexes too much, I had to add reinforcement by way of wooden strips. We purchased the maximum width version. Plus it is grey/grey not blue/grey.
