DANGEROUS when used with Koo-di pop up travel cot. Terrible product. Avoid., 24 Oct. 2013
We got this travel mattress to go with the 'Koo-di pop up travel cot polka' (reviewed also), and were shocked to find our 3 month old baby had flipped the whole thing onto its side on the first night. She was found crying on the floor with this mattress and bed over her. This is a result of bad design with two key factors working with each other to make it dangerously unstable. First is the light weight travel cot itself not being stable and very prone sliding, and then the ridiculous height of the extra mattress. We have complained twice to KooDi directly, asking them for a response, both times we were totally ignored. You'd have thought they would at least be interested in feedback to make safety improvements for their products. I can only conclude they care more about getting your cash than the wellbeing of your baby.

Did not feel safe, 23 Jan. 2014
I bought this as I thought it would make the travel bassinet more comfortable for my 12 week old baby. However, when I put her down on the mattress, she tended to roll towards the fabric sides of the bassinet and I was concerned that she would end up on her side with her face wedged between the edge of the mattress and the sides of the bassinet (potentially putting her at risk of suffocation). I did not feel safe leaving her to sleep in this unless I was able to keep watch. The height of the inflated mattress also meant that whenever she kicked her feet ended up resting on top of the 'ledge' at the end of the bassinet and I was concerned that she could flip herself out of bassinet by doing this. We have used the bassinet several times with just the standard mattress provided and my baby has slept reasonably well (not waking any more than she does in her usual cot) so I will definitely not be using the inflatable mattress again. Not recommended.
