The tallest stool I've found, 20 Jun. 2013

My 2 year old was very short for her age and so when she potty-trained and wanted to start using the toilet independently I was really struggling to find a step-stool that was high enough for her to be able to get on and off the toilet safely. I'm pleased to say that the Jahgoo did the job. It's a few cm higher than most of the other stools on the market and is reasonably stable, but not perfect (it can tip if too much weight is put on the very edge). The top surface is very good as it is covered with rubber pads that make it very slip-resistant, even if it gets wet. Another bonus is that it takes my weight without strain (I'm an average build woman) so is handy for the times I need to reach items from the high cupboard in our bathroom.It was good value for money and I bought a 2nd one to keep at the grandparents' house too.

The description says that a person of a certain weight can stand on the stool.Well I am quite a weighty person and I can stand on it without feeling it bow.Bought for my grandson in advance of him needing it. Does not slide but I have carpets.I know it is really for a child but it would be handy in a kitchen to reach for things that are just out of reach and you stand on tiptoes for. The sort of things you won't go and get a chair to stand on for.Edit June 2013.My daughter moved into a house with 12ft ceilings in May and has tall kitchen wall cupboards. This stool has been in use daily by her and her partner (who is no lightweight) to reach for things in the high cupboards. Neither of them has big feet so they can put both feet on it.
