Lovely quality kaftan, 2 Sept. 2015

I purchased Womens/Ladies Nightwear Jersey Embroidered Kaftan One Size, Satin Trim, Purple along with a similar but plain kaftan from another seller to replace 2 old kaftans that had finally bitten the dust! This arrived promptly and on opening the package, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of material and embroidery. At 5' 9" the kaftan is ankle length with a loose comfortable fit on the body. The material is soft and all edges are bordered with a satin/silky material that gives it a nice finished look that could be worn as a dress as well as for lounging or nightwear. Very pleased!

I am very disappointed with this item. It does not look like the kaftan advertised, the bottom is plain without the applique shown. The satin trim is badly stitched making the material wrinkle. It looks cheap and shoddy. I read all the reviews before buying this and can only assume that I bought a one off but would be interested in knowing if anyone else has the bottom applique missing.

Lovely kaftan, well made and the material feels warm and more substantial than the usual nylon/satin ones. I'm 5'4 tall and the kaftan comes to around 5" from the floor. Highly recommended!
