Great great great fit for newborns. Baby was born with 7lbs and this was a superb fit! Snap down for the cord was essential to keep it open to heal. Good soft elastic a around the legs which prevented leaks and made us cloth diaper fans since baby's day 1 - takes 80min more or less to fully dry in the drier so it's a fast turnaround between washing and drying: cloth diapering is easy if the diapers are good, dry fast and have a good leak free
