Amazon to the Rescue!!, 27 Nov. 2012

I bought this for my husband after sampling it in a set of mens scents. I had been looking for this in shops and hadn't had any luck. Fortunately Amazon came up trumps and I was able to buy it online. Its a beautiful bottle and the scent is really nice. I thought the price was very good value. I will buy it again as my husband loves it.

Excellent value for a special scent which you can usually only get abroad. Thishis is not now sold in UK and is still a classic.

Different than the current bunch of popular smells, 5 Jan. 2016

This EDT reminds me of an aftershave I used to wear back in 1975 called Sabre which was bought from the local pharmacist and I think probably cost about £2, for some reason they stopped selling it. There was also a cheaper Sabre that they stocked in 78 and smelled cheap and awful. This is the same colour and has a similar smell as the earlier Sabre which was very strong and long lasting and my then girlfriend loved it. Lagerfeld EDT is also long lasting and quite strong when first applied. It is probably an acquired taste and not for everyone, although I would persevere as the smell may grow on you a while after the initial spraying as it did me.
