Fab little camera, 7 Jun. 2015

Good value and easy set up - couldn't ask for more. The app was easily found due to the QR code on the instruction and there was also a QR code on the unit to assist with set up. This looks good and is easily manoeuvred using my iPhone or iPad when I need to. Bought primarily as a "puppy"cam it does the job excellently. Has a night mode (which works automatically and very well ! See the pic as an example) and the picture is exceptionally clear.Fab little camera!

Cannot believe the quality of this camera. We can keep an eye on our 4 month old whilst she sleeps and move the camera round from the touch of our mobile phone screens via the app!Multiple users can gain access to the camera with a password of my choice so when we have babysitters they can simply login as well.Great picture, goes to nightvision automatically.Can see why it would be used for all kinds of home security, as well as a baby cam.

This is a fantastic IP Cam, it was very simple to install and works very well. The motorised range of movement is good, the in-built speaker is adequate for its function and the video resolution is superb in daylight or in darkness (using IR technologies).

Overall I would certainly recommend this product with one caveat. Having looked at the traffic going to/from this device, there is no end to end encryption and all communication is routed via a third party to your mobile device / PC / laptop. Therefore, the third party is privy to the video and to audio footage detected and streamed from this camera. If this item and associated applications are upgraded to feature encryption this may be circumvented by the vendor holding the keys.

My recommendation would be to only place it in areas where 'private' audio and video should remain private in your opinion. This may be unsuitable for bedrooms (depending of course on your privacy risk level) but perfectly...
