Fantastic idea, faulty design, mediocre performance, 13 Dec. 2014

Sturdy and nice looking but with some dissapointing issues. Every single time I carry it on the changing bag it leaks and not from the very top point but from the sides creating a mess. Even inserting the plug inside to block the flow it leaks. I truly believe the design is not right, I have a Tomy sippy cup that cost like 1 pound and it doesn't leak not even have of it.

Another thing is my baby always leaves like a quarter of the content when using the straw, she cannot finnish it, another design fault.

I bought it to avoid using so much plastic for healthy concerns (like substances of plastic migrating to food content when hot) and it turns out that according to the instructions I cannot put hot milk inside (hot stuff, they say). So whats the point of it???? I couldn't believe it when I read it but I couldnt bother sending it back. I use it for smoothies, cold soups, cold milk and as well with warm chocolate milk.

It doesn't make sense to me... if it is proper...

well build product, does not work exactly as described, 30 May 2014
Lovely looking bottle. It grabbed my 14 months son's attention straight away. He was unsure with the straw at the beginning, but got the idea pretty quickly. He enjoys it, but after 2 sucks, vacuum builds up and the water doesn't come, so looses interest and doesn't want it any more. It is not a smooth constant flow of water, because of the non leak system. It can be removed, however it is very messy, as the water is leaking when he throws it on the floor. I also don't like that the lid is not attached and can easily be lost. Maybe when he is old enough not to throw the bottle on the floor I can start using it. I've bought 7 different bottles so far, unfortunately this one will have to go with the rest in the cupboard. And it it quite a pricey item. Hopefully after a few months I can start using it.

An expensive mistake, 19 Jun. 2015
I bought this sippy cup for my son's bedtime milk, thinking it would make a nice transition from a bottle. (According to the manufacturer, you're not supposed to use this for hot beverages.) It did keep the milk warm whilst he took his bath and the cup itself is very attractive. However, it is impossible to get any liquid out!! My son didn't drink his milk, so I tried myself. You had to suck incredibly hard to get anything out, much less a reasonable amount of milk! He started asking for his bottle again and refused this cup. In the end, we bought a £2 sippy cup from the supermarket that works a treat and is less fussy (ie less parts to clean). This is a nice cup, just not very practical. I would urge anyone who was considering this cup to save your money & just get something at the supermarket.
