Swaddle your baby the easy way!, 20 April 2011

Purchased for our daughter who is 6 weeks old. She's got a habit of scratching her own face when she's tired, grumpy or hungry (or sometimes all three!).

I'd previously tried swaddling her with baby blankets, but she's got a habit of wriggling an arm out in defiance - I'm sure she's going to be an escapeologist when she grows up.

I found the SwaddleMe fleece much easier to get around her and once she's all velcro'ed up inside it, there's very little wriggle room for her to get an arm out. We actually opted for large size as she's growing at such a rapid rate, she'd of been out of the small one before we knew it. Fortunately, even though her legs are a bit lost in the bottom of it, the top half can be velcro'ed together tight enough that it does the job.

The fleece itself is well made and very soft, if a little bit thin. We're really happy with it and it normally works well when our daughter is tired and grumpy but is fighting the urge to go to sleep -...

Does not 'restrain' our 4 month old baby girl enough, 3 Dec. 2012

We started using this blanket with our 4 month old daughter after having unsuccessfully swaddled her with the miracle blanket from Mothercare. The material is lovely and soft and the velcro makes it very easy to use. However, as our daughter is a real wriggler, it never managed to restrain her for more than a few hours, which meant that she would still wake up at night unswaddled. We also found that it is quite short and our daughter would not have fit in it for much longer after her 4 months.

No. 1 swaddling wrap, Highly recommended!, 9 July 2015

This is very well made, SO soft - in a fine fleece.We used this to swaddle our second child and only wish we had had the same for our first!!Highly recommended, our daughter slept like a dream in these (We bought 2 in each size, to 'wash and wear').Very easy to use, quick and simple concealed Velcro fastening that didn't wriggle/kick loose.Our little girl slept so securely with these until she outgrew them (about 8 months for us).Great for travelling too!
