Impressive and worth every penny, 24 July 2010
As a lover of waterproof mascara and someone who has sensitive and dry, greasy skin I have tried several face washes and spent alot of money trying to find the right one.My sister recommended this to me and although I was apprehensive about the price I went for it and I wasn't disappointed.Some facial washes/ cleansers smell of chemicals but this one doesn't. In fact it doesn't smell of anything really. It doesn't create a feeble foam that doesn't remove your make up but creates a gentle lather that removes all make up easily including waterproof mascara. Even if you have to wash your face twice your skin doesn't dry out which I found really impressive.Another bonus is that it will last you ages. A blob on the end of your finger will easily clean your whole face. I did find that the cleanser works best if the water is pretty warm.Happy washing!

I have been using kiehls cleanser for years, it is great at removing all make up, is kind on the eyes and lasts forever ( 1 tube around 4 months) which makes it great value. My 2 teenage daughters have always used this and they have been lucky enough to never have spots, this cleanser used with the toner is even better

While I'm generally not a great lover of this brand and their products, I have to say that this really is great. It's suitable for most skin types except very dry, and is a brilliant, fragrance-free water-soluble cleanser that is effective, but more importantly gentle. It foams slightly which I like and can remove the most stubborn dirt, grime and makeup. People with very dry skins may find this a little too strong for daily use.
