Torn about this, 20 Sept. 2013

This is the absolute best curl-maintaining product I've found for my mixed-African hair. Moisturizing, long lasting, defines curls, not a lot of residue, natural ingredients (though it's a bit sticky before it dries, and in certain climes, I have attracted bees), and easy to rinse out.However... this product costs $29.99 in the US, and that's after a recent (and upsetting) price hike from $24. The pound is worth more than the US dollar. I cannot justify buying it for this price, which works out to $57.50 after conversion -- not for under two weeks' worth of hair styling (on shoulder-length hair). The shipping and tax costs cannot be nearly as much as the product -- I do not accept this.

Not working on my natural man afro hairs, 2 May 2015

I'm an afro man and I'm very disappointed, it simply doesn't work for me despiste all the positive reviews. There is either no difference with my hairs, or my hairs become worth than when I don't apply anything on them.

- When I apply this product on my wet hairs, they become sticky and shorter as the product dries. The result is that when the product dries my hairs flatten and my style is gone. Therefore, ironically, I'm never sure how I'm going to look in 2 hours after styling my hairs with this product. The only thing I know is that my hairs won't look good, and that they'll look far from having been styled with an expensive product.

- When I apply it on my dry hairs it makes no difference. If I try to put a lot, either the problem mentioned above occurs, or I get white stuff all over my head as the product dries.

I think a product that expensive should either work out-of-the-box of have a good guidance on how to use it. Here I have to do a guess...

Perfect for curly girl hair type 3B, 2 May 2014

Despite the price this is the best product I have come across for holding my curl pattern when drying my hair. Trust me I've tried a lot of gels and curl activators since going back natural after year of relaxing my hair. If you are trying to work out what products are right for you, you may be interest to know my hair type is 3B and this product gives me good curl definition while keep frizz to a minimum.
