Item does seem a little thin, but is the advertised depth. My daughter now has to move her baby son around alternate nights as his head was causing a dent in the mattress until she started to do this. He sleeps on this mattress on top of the one in his travel cot every night, as she is unable to fit a normal cot in her bedroom, and he seems to be comfortable on it. It's a lot better than lying on just the one provided with the travel cot, which is even thinner. The mattress folds into 3 easily & fitted into a suitcase to be taken on holiday no problem.

Fits my Red Kite travel cot perfectly and baby seems very comfortable on it. Good buy for the money and more comfy than the original mattress.
