I wish they had these when my two kids were little, that would have been fantastic :-) very cool idea and very clever one too. There is nothing worse than your child teething and most parents would do anything to be able to take the pain and discomfort away from their babies. This is so convenient, it has an adjustable string so you can hang it at the length that is suitable for you. It is easy to clean them and also they are safe for babies to chew on. You can even put them in the freezer.
They are a nice neutral set and look like beads. This could also be a nice comforting toy for a little child to play with. Certainly safer than any necklace you would usually wear and as most mothers would avoid wearing necklaces for fear of the baby accidently swallowing a small piece of it, this would be safe in comparison.

Finally, a teething accessory that I'm not ashamed to wear! I love everything about this necklace - from the cool geometric hexagon shape of the beads to the hip colour scheme it comes in. The kid loves it, too. She's past most of her teething - only missing a couple of her back teeth at this point (18 months old), but I've read somewhere that when the last couple teeth are breaking through, the whole jaw feels tingly and itchy for your child, so she is now back to trying to chew on her toys and bottle nipples. This necklace couldn't arrive at a better time. She immediately took to playing with it and chewing on it. Considering she has most of her teeth out and she's been chewing on the beads for over 2 h now, I'd say these beads are pretty durable - no teeth-marks so far!The necklace has a very generous length, but if for whatever reason you feel it's too long, you can easily adjust the length by opening the clasp, shortening the strings and closing the clasp again. These beads arrived just in time...my baby saw me put them on and it was like moths drawn to the light. He zoned in on the beads and spent about 10 minutes furiously chewing on them (then it was naptime).
Pros:

- Baby pulls hard on it...can strain your neck
As an aside, I'm not sure that the claim ""better than Baltic amber"" is relevant...both perform different functions. Baltic amber is worn by baby as a pain reliever, and the chew beads are a tactile sensory experience ....we will be using both.
Overall, I am really happy with this teething necklace..it arrived within minutes of my baby pulling on (and breaking) grandma's seed bead corded necklace. I am all for practical and baby safe these days....if function and fashion overlap, so...
