expensive but excellent buy, 28 Feb. 2013

I have hallux rigidus in both big toes which in turn causes hallux valgus in both feet so I found these socks by chance when looking for toe socks to wear with my modified flipflops around the house. A little pricey but I decided to go ahead and purchase a pair. I bought the purple in size M. I have worn them all week under my socks with my work(rocker soled)shoes and have found them a great help. They stay in place and don't move up your feet. They appear to be helping me walk better resulting in not so much pain in the ball of my foot and the base of my toes. I also find it difficult to walk barefoot but wearing these I seem to be able to. I feel they correct my posture and have reduced rough skin on my heels within 3 or 4 days. They totally cushion my feet when walking. I am a size 3 and thought the size M would be to big/slack but they are a really tight fit and haven't stretched out of shape one bit. I intend to buy more I just wish they were cheaper but obviously they are...

Really useful and supportive, though I wonder about longevity and how much roll-up of the fabric there will be. The combination of toe separation and arch support feels great and I bought another pair in black almost immediately
