Hmm, i'm not too sure about this. Millie is a very skinny 16m old baby and i have struggled to find a nappy that's tight enough for her to wear alone, but as this one 'poppers' up, i thought it would be better...only it seems quite uncomfy as she has to have it on the tighter setting, and after a 30min swimming lesson she has red marks on her tummy and legs. But if i let it out and have it looser, it would completely lose its worth as being a swim nappy as any accidents would be able to seep out!!!The inside material isn't as soft as i'd like either, but overall it does work!I wouldn't let her wear it for any longer than 30mins, but seen as its the only one i can find to be tight enough, it'll have to do!!!

I bought this item to save space in our suitcase rather than taking packets of disposable swim nappies on holiday. The various velcro and popper fastenings mean it can be adjusted to fit just right and stays in place. My daughter is 18 months old and I use the middle fastenings so am sure this will fit her to the 30 month age as stated. I have not yet experienced a "number 2" incident so cannot comment but the fact it can be undone like a nappy rather than having to be pulled down the legs like pants leads me to believe it would be much better and less messy should that occur! Would certainly recommend this product

It does the job and is much cheaper than buying disposable swim nappies and of course then more environmentally freindly. We have now used during a one week holiday and the material has started to go bobbly - most probably caused by the velcro snagging on it
